This site (niculi.ro) is the personal, professional profile of Bogdan Niculi. It is a presentation page — there are no sign-ups, accounts, or contact forms, so the site does not ask you for personal information. This policy explains the limited data that is collected automatically and your rights regarding it.
Who is responsible
Bogdan Niculi (“I”, “the site owner”), Bucharest, Romania, is the data controller for this website. You can reach me via LinkedIn.
What is collected, and why
If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies, the site uses Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are viewed, approximate location (country/city level), and general device and browser information. This is used solely to see how the site is used. If you decline, no analytics cookies are stored and only anonymous, cookieless signals may be collected.
The site does not collect names, email addresses, or any information you would type in, because there are no forms.
Legal basis
The legal basis for analytics is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give or refuse through the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time — see the Cookies page.
Third parties
Analytics data is processed by Google (Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager) as a processor. Google may process data on servers inside and outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Web hosting is provided by the site’s hosting company, which processes standard server logs.
How long data is kept
Aggregated analytics data is retained according to the Google Analytics retention settings (typically 2–14 months), after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because the site stores no directly identifying data, requests are usually handled by withdrawing consent (which stops analytics) and clearing your cookies. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
